- Rodeo Parade:
Parade Chairman Jim Eklund reported business donations of $3,325 to cover the costs of the parade. Parade set to start 10:00 AM June 25. Additional help in marshalling was offered by Bob and Jim, subject to spousal approval.
- Visitor Information Centre:
Barb Kroll reported two full time employees, Liana Damant and Nicole Isaac, to staff VIC over summer months. Upgrades in past month include one new computer, two printers, two new display shelving units and Savory Gardens’ planting of annuals.
- Chamber Action on Flood 2005:
Chamber to survey district businesses to evaluate possible action to support our business community. Action: President Bob McIntyre to approach government officials regarding findings of flood related actions.
- Red Deer River Festival:
July 31, 2005 bigger ‘n better than 2004
Street Party on Centre Street starting Sunday morning – will need assistance in set-up and take-down (contact Bob McIntyre)
Photography and Art Show in the Curling Rink (contact Bob McIntyre)
River Race Events:
Downriver from Airport Road 12:00 noon

- Town 50th Anniversary Celebration
Next year’s Red Deer River Festival will be part of the major celebration of Sundre’s 50th anniversary. The Chamber and the Town of Sundre will work to make the August Long Weekend into a fantastic homecoming event.
- Chamber Website:
Motion: Ingrid Mayr to be contracted to update and revise sundrechambercom. Initial budget is set at $500 with an evaluation to follow.

- Community Signage:
Action: Bob McIntyre is to pursue his lifelong vision of a single large sign at the Visitor Information Centre replacing the current plethora of small signs. Bob is also to begin discussions with other concerned parties regarding information signage in the town.
- Retention and Expansion Questionnaire:
Copies of a business survey were distributed for feedback. This survey will be circulated throughout the district to gather information on business needs.
