News from the Sundre Flying Club The Sundre Flying Club's annual Christmas Dinner, hosted by President, Sheldon Valentine and Carla Valentine, on November 25, 2006, in the Coyote Creek Golf Clubhouse adjacent to the Sundre Airport, welcomed COPA Director for Alberta and the North West Territories, Sherry Cooper, Sky Wings Aviation, Red Deer, to honour Norman Cummins for his long time dedication to the Sundre Airport by presenting the Certificate of the new COPA Flight 146 Sundre Alberta to Norman as Captain along with son James Cummins as Co-Captain. The Sundre Flying Club is registered with the Alberta Non-profit Society as the Mountain View Pilots and Flying Association but it has been known as "The Sundre Flying Club" since the early 1950's.
